WHY ATTEND?

This is possibly the largest event specifically organised for science technicians.

To celebrate the huge impact that technicians make on the successful work of science departments.

There will be a series of practical workshops, a pleasing number run by experienced Technicians.

There will be an exhibition zone to explore, plenty of opportunity for discussion, as well as great lunch!

To benefit from unprecedented networking opportunities and sharing ideas with colleagues.

TESTIMONIALS

“I’ve been going to the conference every year since I became a science technician. I never fail to learn something new and I always enjoy meeting other like minded technicians. Last year I was invited to present a session which was great fun passing on ideas and resources to my fellow techs and I hope everyone went home with something new to show their department. The technician conference is the highlight of the summer term!”

Sarah James

Senior Technician – Hodge Hill College

“2020 will be the third year in a row we have attended this conference. Always something new to investigate and learn. John does a great job of organising the event and is very approachable for a quick chat. Food is always plentiful and varied, not to mention very tasty. We are now among the first to be using the Lonza Flash-Gel system after learning about it at this conference. You’ll be surprised what you can learn even if you’ve been a tech for many years”
